Metaverse VR Project

The Metaverse of Metaphors is an immersive virtual world I created for Il Senso delle Parole, a research-based project curated by Eikon and promoted by Takeda Italy. The work invites visitors into a symbolic journey through four virtual environments, each shaped around the metaphors used in oncology by patients, doctors, and caregivers.

The experience begins in a surreal Waiting Room, where the familiar world appears subtly overturned. From there, visitors, embodied as avatars, move into the realm of Metamorphosis, a space shaped by transformation, instability, and change. The journey then continues through the worlds of War and Journey, each offering a different emotional and symbolic perspective on the oncological experience.

This project is especially important to me because it brings together scientific research, immersive storytelling, and metaphor as a living structure of thought. It is one of the most meaningful works I have developed, both for its human depth and for its ability to transform language into navigable space.
