I'm happy to share on this blog some moments from the opening of my latest solo exhibition, BODY(S)CUL(P)TURE, which took place on September 2nd at the Dino Zoli Foundation in Forlì. I would like to thank Dino Zoli for the magnificent space, Nadia Stefanel for the exceptional curatorship, Davide Mastrangelo and Francesca Leoni for choosing to open their Ibrida festival with my work, and Bruno Di Marino for the beautiful texts in the catalog.
The exhibition is a journey through a universe where the organic and artificial intertwine, blurring the boundaries between the natural and synthetic, between body and machine. Francesca Fini, with her ability to merge performance art, digital animation, and artificial intelligence, creates a narrative that bravely confronts the complexities and ambiguities of our time. Her works explore the tensions between the intimacy of the body and the intrusion of technology, between the materiality of flesh and the immateriality of data, inviting us to reconsider our role in a world that is becoming increasingly fluid and hybrid.
BODY (S)CUL(P)TURE is open for free from September 2 until October 13.
The Dino Zoli Foundation (Viale Bologna 288, Forlì) is open to the public from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and from Friday to Sunday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Admission is free and open to all.
